Panarteritic pattern GCA is considered when the inflammatory cells are seen distributed in all layers of the arterial wall.
This pattern is the most common pattern of inflammation observed in GCA.
This is generally the easiest pattern to identify.
There is infiltration by lymphocytes and/or granulomatous infiltrate in all three layers of the artery wall. There can be associated alteration of part or whole of the artery architecture.
